Inserts
You may add inserts to your slatwall either to increase the strength of the board so you can display heavy merchandise or to increase the visual appeal of your display. Please note if you are planning to use unreinforced slatwall you will be able to display a maximum of 10 - 15 pounds per bracket at 12" in length. We recommend using hardware no longer than 12" on unreinforced slatwall.
Inserts to increase the strength of the slatwall
T shaped Aluminum inserts must be installed during the manufacturing of the slatwall and will increase the weight that you can display to 50-60 pounds per bracket. Please call 1-800-426-5708 to speak to a sales representative if you would like to order metal reinforced slatwall.
Inserts to increase the visual appeal of the slatwall
These inserts may be installed by you before you permanently install slatwall on your walls.
65031W White Plastic Inserts - Slide in Insert. Same shape as the groove. Adds no strength. 16 per box - each box will be enough for 1 sheet of slatwall.
6512_ Colorsnaps - Snap into place after panel is installed. Covers entire groove. Colors: 1-White,
8-Black, and 2-Red. 16 pieces per box.
6517_ Color Groves - Flat Flexible non-adhesive vinyl. 1 Roll/Sheet of Slatwall. Adds no strength. Available in the following colors: 5-White, 6-Gray, 7-Black, 8-Red, or 9-Blue. 130' Roll (enough for 1 sheet of slatwall),
6515_ Plastic End Caps - 8' Long, 7-Black, 6-Gray, or 5-White
Other connectors available - to make corners, or build displays for permanent or temporary solutions.
