Hangers

When the economy started going south a manufacturer of plastic hangers from China started calling some of our largest hanger clients.

We sell a lot of hangers. We have five very large hanger clients and the prices from China were crazy low. Three of our large clients told us they knew they couldn’t expect the same type of service from the new China direct supplier but they couldn’t resist the low price.

Two of those three large clients are back buying from us and the other is analyzing their "true" savings. The two clients that are back buying from us found that while the cost per hanger was much lower from China direct the quality of the hangers were much worse. They had so much more breakage that they found their cost actually increased. They found they got what they paid for.
